July 15, 2021: Prothoma members have planned to organize a community cultural event to celebrate the life and works of Kobiguru Rabindranath Tagore at the Quarry Lake Regional Recreational Area on the 1st of August, 2021. A wonderful line up of talented Bay Area artists would sing, dance and recite to pay tribute to Tagore. A meeting within the Bengali community is incomplete without good food. Some Prothoma volunteers have taken the initiative to bring in some delicious homemade food items and beverages for everybody present at the event. Come join us at the event to celebrate the Bengali culture which is in all of our hearts.
