Prothoma Covid Safety Team, Sep 25, 2021:
- Only registered members and their guests will be able to enter the Pujo area, Cafeteria or Auditorium. Durgapujo 2021 is a members’ only event.
- Because of Covid-19 restrictions we will not be able to accommodate guests who are not registered as members or guest of a Prothoma member.
- All the member families and the guests over the age of 12 must show proof of vaccination and sign a liability waiver form provided by Prothoma before completing the check in process.
Prothoma Durgapujo 2021 Safety Measures
- Everyone attending the event are required to wear masks inside the auditorium or cafeteria during the event except for active participants on stage during the concert.
- There will be a temperature check before entering the Pujo area for the registered members
- There will be PPE supplies available for all visitors
- Hand sanitizers will be easily available across all the places in the puja venue
- There will be clearly marked places with safe social distancing for offering Pujo Anjali. We request all the members to maintain safe social distancing.
- Only pre-boxed food will be distributed to the members for Saturday lunch, dinner & Sunday lunch in a safe & controlled manner
- There will be plenty of hand Sanitizing options available through out the pujo area which we encourage the attendees to use
- There will be a periodical sanitization of the facility and high contact surfaces by dedicated cleaning crew and custodians
- We are monitoring the COVID situation closely and will be following all the guidelines by CDC, Alameda county and Santa Clara County. Please find all the county & CDC guidelines below –

Prothoma Durgapujo 2021 General Guidelines
- Please park your vehicles on the parking lot. Parking the vehicle along with a fire lane might get your vehicle towed.
- No Alcohol Consumption is permitted at the school premises. In California, it is against the law to possess, consume, sell, give or deliver any alcoholic beverage on the grounds of a public educational facility. Having alcoholic beverages at a public educational facility can result in misdemeanor charges.
- Smoking of any tobacco products on school premises are not permitted. All public schools in California requires to prohibit the use of tobacco products, including electronic smoking devices, on all school property.
