Durga Puja 2021
Durga Puja 2021
- 8:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Mission San José High School
The Northern California Bengali Association (NCBA) was born in 2021, in the aftermath of the pandemic. In Bengali, we call ourselves “Prothoma”, the first of a socially conscious and community-forward organization to serve our community, friends and neighbours in northern California.
Our deep and profound gratitude to our community for the overwhelming love and support everybody has extended in giving birth to a dream we call “Prothoma” and for giving this dream form and substance.
Durga puja is the most important Bengali festival which brings the community together every year and also a platform to celebrate and indulge in the heritage, traditions, business and networking, food, art and culture of Bengal with friends and family.
Due to the ongoing pandemic Covid-19, we are taking all the precautions possible to maintain our community members safe.
As part of the process, we are pausing membership process of Prothoma – Northern California Bengali Association until October 10, 2021. We will also restrict the Durgapujo this year only for members to maintain all the covid safety protocols.
Please find all the details regarding covid safety and guidelines here – https://norcalba.org/covid-19-safety-protocols-guidelines/
